THE CHALLENGEThe Muse Kitchen Collection began as a design sprint with our industrial design team, focusing on creating a family of four small kitchen appliances with a unified, visually striking aesthetic. The goal was to balance simplicity with a distinctive design language that would stand out in the competitive market of modern kitchen appliances. After finalizing the product family, our brand design team developed a brand identity that seamlessly integrated with the product design, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence across all touchpoints, from packaging to marketing.

BRAND DESIGNLogo & Visual Identity
The design of the Muse logo and visual identity embodies a seamless integration of brand and product design by drawing directly from the core design language of the Muse product family. This approach led to the development of a modular visual identity system, where the product family serves as the foundation, ensuring a consistent and unified brand presence across all touchpoints.
MOODBOARDLOGO DESIGNWe explored a range of logos inspired by the appliance collection aiming to create a strong visual connection between the brand and its offerings.
In the final logo, the Muse letterforms are thoughtfully crafted to reflect the product family's balance of simplicity and approachability. The interior of each letter mirrors the exact rounded shapes taken from the base of the products, creating a cohesive visual connection. The horizontal line leading into the 'M' is inspired by the product handles. The 'M' is designed to be a key part of the full wordmark while serving as a strong, standalone brand symbol.
