BRAND STORY

1953 Tequila is the only additive-free sipping tequila that is founded, farmed, distilled, and led by women. The name of the brand is 1953, the year women secured the right to vote in Mexico. This bottle honors the courage, tenacity, and boldness of those women who fought for equality then and those who continue to pursue equality around the world today.

THE CHALLENGE

We partnered with 1953 to craft a brand strategy aimed at positioning them as a luxury leader within the tequila category. Through an in-depth luxury brand audit, we distilled the core elements essential to luxury brands. We then translated this strategy into a design approach that extended the brand’s visual identity, setting the tone and styling for product imagery and brand assets across their website, social media, and marketing channels. Our ongoing collaboration with 1953 includes the continuous development of brand assets, renderings, animations, videos, and marketing communications.
