THE CHALLENGEThe COVID-19 pandemic was a challenging time, particularly for small local businesses, many of which were forced to close permanently. In response, we designed Runnly to provide a solution that supports both businesses and customers during these difficult times. Accessibility was a key consideration in our design process, ensuring that Runnly is ergonomic and easy to interact with for all users, making it a truly inclusive solution.

Runnly's versatile compartments are designed to accommodate a wide range of delivery needs, offering customizable sizes from SM (small) to XL (extra large). Each compartment is specifically configured to securely transport various items, ensuring safe delivery of everything from small parcels to larger packages. This flexibility allows business owners to tailor their delivery solutions based on order size, making Runnly an efficient choice for local deliveries.

We equipped Runnly with a wireless charging coil, allowing it to dock effortlessly between runs. The modular design of the dock supports scalability, enabling the seamless expansion of a Runnly fleet as needed.

The Runnly charging station is able to charge a fleet of vehicles at a time, providing convenient hubs for recharging. Its modular design supports easy scalability, allowing stations to be deployed and expanded across different city locations as needed.
THE APPSeamless Experience
When designing the Runnly app, we carefully considered the user experience from both the shopper’s and store owner’s perspectives. Our goal was to create a seamless integration between the digital and physical experience. By incorporating real-time tracking, robust authentication, and clear instructions, we ensured that every aspect of the app works in harmony to deliver an exceptional user experience.
REQUESTING A RUNNLY Runnly is designed with modularity and flexibility in mind, giving business owners the option to choose the right compartment size when requesting a vehicle. From SM (small) to XL (extra large), each size is tailored to securely transport a range of items, from small parcels to larger packages.
TRACKING PROGRESS Business owners are able to track the progress of their deliveries in real time, providing complete visibility from pickup to drop-off. This feature ensures that both businesses and customers are kept informed of the delivery status, enhancing trust and reliability. By monitoring the route and estimated time of arrival, users can manage their operations more efficiently and ensure timely delivery of orders.
BRAND DESIGNLogo & Visual Identity
We explored a range of Runnly logos with the intent of crafting a mark that symbolizes innovation and forward thinking. The final Runnly logo is crafted with a contemporary sans-serif typeface that features clean lines, precise geometric forms and distinctive angles. Together these elements add a dynamic quality to the mark, suggesting motion and progress, which aligns with Runnly's mission to drive local businesses forward.
