Industrial Design | Branding | Packaging Design
Work is a fundamental aspect of human experience and we believe that a well-designed workspace has the potential to inspire, promote focus and productivity, and create a seamless workflow. So we partnered with the HumanCentric brand to design the Workspace Collection, aimed at helping people do their best work. We first established HumanCentric’s core product design language by creating a series of minimalist, balanced, and highly functional home office products. Once the product line was set, we worked with HumanCentric to design their branding and develop a packaging design system for their entire brand offering.
Dockbook
The Dockbook was designed as a companion for the MacBook pro 13” + 15”. Designed for seamless one-handed interaction, the DocBook provides a sophisticated and useful laptop stand, allowing you to charge your laptop and connect to an external monitor at the same time.
Headphone Stand
A minimalist headphone stand designed for ultimate utility without getting in the way. We strived to simultaneously achieve an appearance of weightlessness and stability.
Laptop Riser
Designed for optimal ergonomic viewing angles, this laptop raiser was designed to add style to the desk space while allowing surface clearance, giving it a sense of weightlessness.
Desk Shelf + Drawer
The desk shelf is a monitor riser that can be paired with a modular drawer. The design uses a premium black walnut wood top with Aluminum legs and felt linings to keep items from clashing against the premium metal finishes.
Laptop Stands
We’ve designed a number of laptop stands, some add stunning black walnut wood finishes to accent and compliment the HC product line, while others are designed with the humancentric principle of embodying focus—we achieve this through a minimalist aesthetic that supports the product it interacts with.

Symbol Exploration
Primary Symbol
The HumanCentric brand symbol is a representation of the brand's fundamental design principles: minimalism, focus, balance, flow, and energy transfer. It resulted in an abstract, organic form that showcases symmetry, motion and creates a strong focal point.
Packaging Guidelines
After finalizing the Workspace Collection product line, we created a strategic packaging design system and guidelines for the entire product range. We established a tiering strategy which divided products into base, mid, and premium tiers. We designed packaging that corresponded with each tier, considering cost, graphics, and structure. Our final deliverable was a comprehensive guideline document that was provided to the HumanCentric brand for implementation by their internal teams.
